Employment Equity compliance is not necessarily something businesses realise the importance of, whether this be purely out of a compliancy with the act perspective or more business related matters like BEE scorecards and tenders.

So what do businesses need to comply with the relevant employment equity act? All businesses employing more than fifty (50) staff members are legally required to comply with the act. Any business employing less than 50 staff members, but exceed their industry annual threshold is also legally required to comply with this act.
